WAYANAD / MUNNAR / THEKKEDY / CHERAI

Day 1 - Calicut – Wayanad         

Arrive at Calicut airport or the railway station, our representative will receive you and transfer you to Wayanad. While your travel to Wayanad you will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of Ghat road view point and glimpse of the legend chain tree. Check in to the hotel on your arrival at Wayanad. Afternoon Visit the Pookode Lake, Banasura Sagar Dam - the largest earth dam in India and the second largest of its kind in Asia, Pazhassi Raja Tomb and Pazhassi Raja museum Mananthavady. Overnight stay hotel / resort at wayanad.

Day 2 - Wayanad           

Morning after breakfast time for full day sightseeing of Wayanad visiting the Muthanga - ecotourism center in Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, Jain temple at Sultan Bathery, Edakkal Caves - the Neolithic cave site of Edakkal, Wayanad heritage museum at Ambalavayal and Phantom Rock overnight stay hotel/ resort at Wayanad.

Day 3 - Wayanad – Departure - Cochin  

In the morning, after breakfast, check out from Hotel and proceed to Calicut; en route visit Soochipara Waterfalls in Vellarimala. Or Pazhassiraja Museum & Art Gallery, Mananchira Square & Mananchira tank are at the heart of Kozhikode and the Kappad beach. Evening, proceed to Cochin.

Day 4 - Cochin - Munnar             

Morning after breakfast time and thereafter drive to Munnar hills (130 kms / 4 hrs). En route, visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. On arrival, check in at the Hotel and relax. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 5 - Munnar

Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum, Pothamedu etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight at Munnar.

Day 6 - Thekkady (Periyar)          

Morning drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 3.5 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the Resort. After lunch visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On the way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay in the Thekkady.

Day 7 - Houseboat (Backwater Place)     

Morning proceed to Alleppey (140 kms / 4.5 hrs) which has a panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields, highlands. On arrival, check into a Traditional Houseboat of Kerala Style and cruise through the backwaters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of backwaters. Stay overnight in Houseboat - A/c.

Day 8 - Alleppey – Cherai            

After Breakfast, disembark from the houseboat at 09:00 Am & proceed to Cherai . Day at leisure. Overnight at Cherai.

Day 9 - Cherai - Cochin  

After fast proceed to cochin sightseeing - Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace St. Francis Church, Chineese fishing nets, on theharbour . Stay Overnighy at the Hotel.

Day 10 - Check out and departure.
